Aircraft Ground Power Units (GPU) supply stable and reliable 115/200 VAC, 400 Hz electrical power to civil and military aircraft and helicopters during pre-flight preparation and maintenance operations at airports, as well as to test benches, hangars, MRO facilities, and aircraft manufacturing plants. Since 1974, TET Estel has been developing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of ground power units suitable for all major aircraft types.
400 HZ FREQUENCY CONVERTERS – FCA SERIES
The FCA Series solid-state frequency converters convert industrial power supply into high-quality 115/200 VAC, 400 Hz electrical power for aircraft ground operations. With output ratings ranging from 10 kVA to 360 kVA, the series provides precise voltage and frequency control for use at airports, MRO facilities, hangars, and aircraft manufacturing plants.
AR Series aircraft rectifiers supply stable 28 VDC power for aircraft and helicopter ground operations and are used during maintenance, avionics testing, and technical servicing. Selected models are also available with 56 VDC output for helicopter and military applications.
COMBINED AC/DC AIRCRAFT POWER UNITS – FCA/AR SERIES
Combined AC/DC Aircraft Power Units integrate 400 Hz AC and 28 VDC power supply in a single system, allowing simultaneous support of aircraft electrical systems during maintenance and testing, particularly in MRO facilities, hangars, and aircraft manufacturing plants.
Diesel- and battery-powered Ground Power Units (GPUs) for remote stands and apron operations, providing reliable off-grid aircraft power where fixed ground power infrastructure is unavailable.
ADDITIONAL AIRCRAFT GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (GSE)
Additional Aircraft Ground Support Equipment includes solutions designed to complement ground power systems during aircraft servicing and is used at airports, maintenance facilities, and airbases to improve operational efficiency and support ground handling and technical tasks.
