TET ESTEL has been manufacturing frequency converters and equipment for induction heating technology since 1968, when the plant released the first thyristor frequency converter of the TFC series and began their serial production. In the late 1980s, the production of rectifiers and equipment for DC vacuum arc furnace (VAR) technologies began, and since 1998 - the production of DC rectifier units for open electric arc furnaces (EAF). Since 2000, the development of regulators for electroslag remelting furnaces (ESR) began. In 2006, transistor frequency converters of the FCI series on IGBT modules were developed and launched into serial production. Today the plant produces 6th generation thyristor frequency converters, IGBT-based transistor converters, induction heating complexes for heat treatment and melting, rectifier units for EAF and VAR furnaces and power regulators for ESR furnaces.
