Rectifier designed for feeding six independent DC voltage signals to traction motors of diesel locomotives.

VUTG Series device converts diesel motor AC into DC with division into six independently adjustable voltages – one for each DC motor of the locomotive.
Rectifier is designed to enable electrical braking of the locomotive guided by microprocessor control system when the traction motors are set to generator mode.
Provision is also made for emergency mode when converter operates as uncontrolled diode rectifier that allows to continue motion up to the nearest repair spot.
Designed to comply with RoHS and REACH requirements.
