CFS Series








TET ESTEL high-voltage frequency converters are designed to perform starting, rotation regulation, smooth switching to the grid and braking of powerful synchronous motors.
One converter can provide simultaneous group starting of up to 6 machines. The converter is connected to the plant network using input current suppressing reactors, or under different rated network voltage through matching transformers.
The efficiency our drives allows to trim energy consumption, especially in a wide range of required rotational speed regulations (0.2 – 1.1 of the rated value).
TET ESTEL electric drive provides an automatic starting mode, process of electric drive acceleration up to synchronization with network frequency at the set pace, a sequency of exact synchronization with network frequency and phase without inrush switching to the network, and smooth regulation and stabilization of engine rotational speed in a wide range, and regenerative braking up to the set frequency.
The converter solution includes sophisticated protection, control and diagnostics systems ensuring safe operation of the starting units.
Designed service life is 40 years.
